Lee Pace

Lee Pace (also credited as Lee Grinner Pace) is an American screen actor born March 25, 1979, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Known for a commanding presence and sharp character work, he has moved fluidly between independent films and major studio franchises.

Pace gained wide recognition on television with his Emmy-nominated performance as Ned in Pushing Daisies (2008), then anchored the period tech drama Halt and Catch Fire as Joe MacMillan. Since 2021, he has led the epic sci-fi series Foundation as the imperial figure Brother Day, bringing regal intensity to Isaac Asimov’s universe.

On the big screen, he is celebrated for playing Thranduil the Elvenking in The Hobbit trilogy and for joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ronan the Accuser, first seen in Guardians of the Galaxy and later in Captain Marvel. His range is also evident in notable credits including The Fall, Soldier's Girl, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Infamous, and A Single Man.

Continuing to expand his repertoire, Pace also lends his voice to animation, including the role of Thragg in Invincible (2026–present).
