Lina El Arabi

Lina El Arabi (also credited as 莉娜·埃爾·阿拉比) is a French screen actress born on August 11, 1995, in Choisy-le-Roi, Val-de-Marne. Raised in France by Moroccan parents, she has built a reputation for grounded, emotionally direct performances across contemporary French cinema and television.

Her artistic path began early: she studied ballet and violin from the age of six, then added theatre training at ten—foundations that shaped her physical presence and vocal control on screen. That early discipline helped her move confidently into demanding roles that balance intensity with nuance.

El Arabi gained major recognition for her leading work in A Wedding, earning the Best Actress prize at the Festival du Film Francophone d’Angoulême. Since then, she has continued to expand her range in notable credits including Besties (Nedjma), Don’t Leave Me! (Chama), Talk Chaud (La voix off), Divertimento (Fettouma Ziouani), The Damned (Yara), Louise (Salima), The Temple Woods Gang (Rebecca), and Without Gloves (Samia).
