Lisa Carlehed

Lisa Carlehed (born July 15, 1979, in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Swedish screen actress whose work often moves between the Swedish and Danish film and TV industries. Coming from a performing-arts family—her father is an actor—she built her craft steadily before breaking through to larger audiences.

Carlehed began appearing on screen in the 2000s, frequently in short-form projects, before stepping into more substantial parts in the 2010s. She drew attention with the Danish drama In Your Arms (as Maria) and continued to expand her range in features that earned critical notice, including a Bodil Award nomination for Best Actress.

Internationally, she became widely recognized for leading the historical drama The Emigrants (2021), directed by Erik Poppe, a performance that brought her a Guldbagge Award nomination. Her later work includes film and television credits such as Quisling: The Final Days (as Maria Quisling), The Swedish Torpedo (as Carla), Homecoming (as Jenny), and the series The Rain.

Across projects like Fallet (as Agnes) and Lars and Peter (as Alma), Carlehed is known for grounded, emotionally precise performances that suit both intimate drama and larger historical storytelling.
