Lorenzo di Bonaventura

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (also credited as Lorenzo DiBonaventura and Lorenzo Di Bonaventura) is an American film producer born on January 13, 1957, in New York City. He is the founder and owner of Di Bonaventura Pictures, a banner closely associated with large-scale, audience-driven studio filmmaking.

Across his career, di Bonaventura has become widely recognized for shepherding major franchise entertainment, most notably the Transformers and G.I. Joe film series. Collectively, the movies he has produced have generated more than $7 billion at the global box office, underscoring his role as a key figure in modern blockbuster production.

Beyond feature films, he has also appeared as himself in a range of behind-the-scenes documentaries and making-of projects that spotlight the craft and business of filmmaking. His on-screen credits include The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened?, Side by Side, and The Matrix Revisited, where he is identified with his Warner Bros. executive role.
