Lou Llobell
Lou Llobell (also credited as 盧·洛貝爾) is a Zimbabwe-born screen actor known for bringing intelligence and emotional clarity to character-driven sci-fi and drama. Born on January 18, 1995, she has a multicultural background that continues to shape her on-screen presence and international appeal.
Raised across multiple countries, Llobell was born in Zimbabwe to a Spanish father and a Zimbabwean mother, then spent her formative years in Spain and South Africa. That cross-continental upbringing helped inform her adaptable performance style, comfortable in projects that move between genres, tones, and audiences.
She is best recognized for her breakout role as Gaal Dornick in Apple TV+’s Foundation, where she anchors the series’ sweeping ideas with grounded, human stakes. Her film work includes Voyagers (as Zandie), as well as credits such as The Pilgrim (Claire), Passenger (Maddie), A Band Apart, and Beach Boys. She has also appeared as herself on The Daily Show.
