Luciane Buchanan

Luciane Buchanan (also credited as لوسیان بوکانن) is a New Zealand screen actress born on July 18, 1993, in Auckland. Known for her range and grounded on-screen presence, she has built a career that moves smoothly between high-stakes thrillers and character-driven drama.

She gained major international visibility in 2023 with a starring role in Netflix’s action-thriller series The Night Agent, helping introduce her to a global audience. Earlier, she became a familiar face on New Zealand television through the drama series Filthy Rich (2016–2017), and later expanded her reach with the fantasy-adventure series The New Legends of Monkey (2018–2020).

Alongside her series work, Buchanan’s film and TV credits include The Tank (as Jules), Mother Tongue (as Katherine), Stray (as Lily), and My Friend Michael Jones (as Selina), among others.
