Luke Lerdwichagul
Luke Lerdwichagul (born May 24, 1999, in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian screen artist and production talent best known online as SMG4 (formerly SuperMarioGlitchy4, also seen as SuperMemeGuardian4). Working across animation and digital storytelling, he’s built a reputation as a creator who blends comedy, character-driven chaos, and polished web-series craft.
He founded the SMG4 YouTube channel and serves as its series director, while also helping shape the modern indie animation scene as the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Glitch Productions. Through the studio, Lerdwichagul has been central to developing original web series such as Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise, expanding his role beyond performance into writing, directing, and post-production.
In recent years, his influence has extended to major animated hits as an executive producer on Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus. He’s also credited on Murder Drones as the voice of Grant, underscoring his hands-on involvement both behind the scenes and on the mic.
On-screen, he’s often represented by the SMG4 persona—a blue-and-white avatar that evolved from early parody roots into a signature character—while Luke remains a guiding presence across the larger narrative world he helped create.
