Maisy Stella

Maisy Stella (also credited as Maisy Jude Marion Stella) is a Canadian screen artist and singer born on December 13, 2003, in Oshawa, Ontario. She first broke through with a standout television role that showcased both her acting presence and musical instincts, quickly becoming a recognizable young talent in North American entertainment.

Stella is widely known for playing aspiring country singer Daphne Conrad on the long-running musical drama Nashville (2012–2018). The series helped position her as a performer comfortable at the intersection of story and song, and it set the stage for her expanding work across film and television.

In music, she launched her solo output with the track “Riding Free” for the Spirit Riding Free soundtrack in 2017. She later returned to acting with a major leap forward: starring as Elliott in Megan Park’s coming-of-age comedy My Old Ass (2024), a performance that earned her both Critics’ Choice and Independent Spirit wins, plus a Gotham nomination.

Her growing filmography also includes The End of Oak Street (Audrey Platt), Poetic License (Grace Wilson), Tumor (Evie Gibson), Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties (Self), and titles such as Ibelin and The Man I Love.
