Marcello Hernández

Marcello Hernández (also credited as Marcello Andrés Hernández-Gonzáles) is an American screen and stage comedian and actor born on August 19, 1997, in Miami, Florida. Known for sharp character work and fast-paced sketch performance, he has quickly become a recognizable face in contemporary comedy.

Hernández rose to national attention after joining NBC’s long-running sketch institution Saturday Night Live as a cast member beginning with the show’s 48th season in 2022. His on-air presence and comedic timing have helped position him among the standout performers of SNL’s newer generation.

Beyond weekly live television, Hernández has expanded into a mix of specials and film projects. His credits include appearances as himself in SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, Marcello Hernández: American Boy, and Lorne (uncredited), alongside acting roles such as The Improviser (as Marcello) and Happy Gilmore 2 (as Esteban).
