Margarita Levieva

Margarita Levieva (also credited internationally as マルガリータ・レヴィエヴァ and مارگاریتا لویوا) is a Russian-American screen actress known for bringing sharp intelligence and emotional edge to both film and television. Born on February 9, 1980, in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), she grew up in a Russian Jewish family shaped by history—her grandmothers survived the Siege of Leningrad as children.

Levieva began rhythmic gymnastics at age three, a discipline that later informed her physical confidence on screen. At 11, she moved to the United States with her mother and twin brother, settling in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Though accepted to LaGuardia High School for dance, she ultimately pursued a different path, later balancing full-time work as a fashion buyer with an ambitious academic run at New York University.

After graduating early from NYU with a double major in economics and psychology (plus additional minors), Levieva transitioned into acting and steadily built a varied résumé. Her notable film credits include The Invisible (Annie Newton), Adventureland (Lisa P.), Spread (Heather), The Lincoln Lawyer (Regina “Reggie” Campo), and Knights of Badassdom (Beth/Succubus), as well as Noise and For Ellen.

On television, she has earned wider recognition with standout roles such as Abby Parker in The Deuce, Mother Koril in Star Wars: The Acolyte, and Heather Glenn/Muse in Daredevil: Born Again, continuing to expand her range across major franchises and character-driven drama.
