Mary Livanos

Mary Livanos is a Marvel Studios production and development executive whose career has grown alongside the studio’s expansion from blockbuster features to prestige streaming series. She joined Marvel in 2012 as a research and development intern and steadily advanced through key production roles supporting projects across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Before arriving at Marvel Studios, Livanos gained early industry experience as an assistant and as a motion picture and literary talent intern at William Morris Endeavor, building a foundation in both creative packaging and development. That background helped shape her reputation as a producer who can bridge story, logistics, and franchise-scale planning.

At Marvel, she contributed to major titles including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Daredevil: Born Again. As Marvel moved into serialized storytelling, she stepped into senior producing responsibilities, serving as co-executive producer on WandaVision, the studio’s first television production.

Livanos has since overseen high-profile releases as an executive producer, including The Marvels and series such as Agatha All Along and VisionQuest. She also appears in Marvel’s behind-the-scenes specials, including Marvel Studios Assembled, reflecting her central role in shaping the MCU’s on-screen output.
