Matthew Miller

Matthew Miller is a Canadian screen artist known for his work in production, as well as writing and producing projects that have reached audiences worldwide. Alongside his screen career, he works as a contractual university lecturer, bringing industry experience into the classroom.

Miller is also recognized as an advocate for women in film, supporting greater equity and visibility across the industry. His work has screened at major international film festivals and has been honored with awards associated with events such as TIFF, Sundance, and the Berlin International Film Festival.

He earned broad attention for BlackBerry (2023), co-written with filmmaker Matt Johnson. The film premiered in competition at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, marking a high-profile milestone in Miller’s growing body of acclaimed screen work.
