Maya Erskine

Maya Erskine (born May 7, 1987, in Los Angeles, California) is an American screen performer and writer known for sharp comedic instincts and emotionally grounded work across TV, film, and voice acting. She is also credited under the names 瑪雅·埃斯金 and 瑪雅·厄斯金.

Erskine rose to wide recognition with Hulu’s coming-of-age comedy PEN15 (2019–2021), where she starred alongside Anna Konkle while also co-creating, co-writing, and serving as a co-executive producer. The series became a critical favorite and earned multiple Primetime Emmy nominations, cementing her as a distinctive creative voice as well as a lead actor.

Her profile expanded further with Prime Video’s spy drama Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024–), in which she plays Jane Smith—work that brought her a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She has also been featured in series such as Betas and Man Seeking Woman, and voiced standout roles including Mizu in Netflix’s animated action series Blue Eye Samurai.

On film, Erskine’s notable credits include Plus One, 6 Balloons, When Jeff Tried to Save the World, and Men. Her voice roles span projects like DC League of Super-Pets and Wildwood, underscoring her versatility across genres.
