Maya Hawke
Maya Hawke (also credited as Maya Ray Thurman-Hawke) is an American screen artist and singer-songwriter, born July 8, 1998, in New York City. The daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, she first entered the spotlight through modeling before shifting her focus to acting and music.
Her on-screen breakthrough came with her debut as Jo March in the BBC’s 2017 adaptation of Little Women. She soon became widely recognized for playing Robin Buckley on Netflix’s hit sci-fi series Stranger Things (2019–2025), a role that helped establish her as a standout presence in contemporary genre television.
Hawke has continued to build a varied filmography, moving between studio projects and distinctive auteur films. Her notable credits include Asteroid City (June Douglas), Maestro (Jamie Bernstein), Wildcat (Flannery O’Connor), The Kill Room (Grace), and the voice role of Anxiety in Inside Out 2. Alongside acting, she has released multiple albums, expanding her profile as a musician with an intimate, singer-songwriter style.
