Mia Goth
Mia Goth (also known as Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth) is an English-Brazilian screen actor born on October 25, 1993, in Southwark, London. She first entered the spotlight as a teenager through modelling, then quickly pivoted to film, bringing an arresting, off-kilter intensity that has become her signature.
Goth made her acting debut in Lars von Trier’s provocative art drama Nymphomaniac: Vol. II, a launchpad that led to increasingly ambitious projects. She expanded her range across genre and prestige titles, earning wider notice in films such as A Cure for Wellness, High Life, Suspiria, and Emma, where her performances balanced vulnerability with unnerving edge.
Her major breakthrough arrived with the X film series, where she embodied both Pearl and Maxine Minx, cementing her as a modern horror standout. Recent and notable credits include Pearl, MaXXXine, Infinity Pool (as Gabi Bauer), The House (voice of Mabel), Everest (as Meg Weathers), and Frankenstein (as Elizabeth / Claire Frankenstein).
