Mikey Madison
Mikey Madison (born March 25, 1999, in Los Angeles, California) is an American screen actor also credited as Mikaela Madison Rosberg. She first built momentum through short films before gaining wider attention on FX’s comedy-drama Better Things (2016–2022), where her sharp, guarded teen performance helped establish her as a compelling new voice on television.
Madison’s profile rose with her turn as “Sadie” in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019), followed by a major studio breakthrough as Amber Freeman in Scream (2022). Alongside these high-visibility roles, she continued to take on varied projects including All Souls (River), Liza, Liza, Skies Are Grey (Liza), and Nostalgia (Kathleen).
In 2024, Madison delivered her biggest career-defining performance as Ani in Sean Baker’s Anora, earning top honors including the Academy Award and BAFTA Award. With that win, she became the first member of Generation Z to receive an acting Oscar—marking a milestone moment in contemporary film.
