Milly Alcock
Milly Alcock (born April 11, 2000, in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian screen actor also credited as Amelia Alcock. She first drew major attention in Australian television, earning an AACTA Award nomination for her work on the Foxtel comedy-drama Upright (2019–2022).
International audiences soon took notice when Alcock stepped into the world of prestige fantasy as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon (2022–2024). Her performance helped define the series’ early power dynamics and brought her a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Alcock’s profile continues to rise through a mix of film and TV roles, with credits including The Familiars (as Alison), The School (as Jien), Furlough (as Ella), and titles such as Thumb and Hot Mother. She has also been associated with projects like Based Amy.
In a major franchise milestone, Alcock is set to portray Kara Zor-El / Supergirl in James Gunn’s DCU, beginning with Supergirl (2026), after an uncredited appearance as Supergirl in Superman (2025).
