Mo Brings Plenty

Mo Brings Plenty (also credited as Moses Brings Plenty and Moses J. Brings Plenty) is a Native American screen artist and actor born on September 4, 1969, in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Raised with deep ties to the Pine Ridge Reservation, he has brought an unmistakable authenticity to projects that explore Indigenous history, identity, and contemporary life.

Brings Plenty is a direct descendant of Brings Plenty, an Oglala Lakota warrior who fought at the Battle of the Little Bighorn—an ancestral connection that informs both his public profile and the cultural weight he carries on screen. Off camera, he is married to Sara Ann Haney-Brings Plenty.

Across film and television, he has built a varied résumé, from documentary and historical work to mainstream studio features. His notable credits include Urban Rez (narrator), Hidalgo (Ghost Drummer), The Contested Plains (Stone Calf), Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse (Udeli Soquili), and Dead Man's Hand (Mahto).

He also appears in major franchise entertainment, including Jurassic World Dominion as Shep Wauneka, and has portrayed iconic figures such as Crazy Horse in Custer's Last Stand. In Miraculous Spiral, he is credited as himself.
