Monica Raymund
Monica Raymund (also credited as Monica Maria Raymund; مونیکا ریموند) is an American screen artist known for bringing grit and warmth to contemporary TV drama. Born July 26, 1986, in St. Petersburg, Florida, she built her craft in New York City, graduating from the Juilliard School before moving into high-profile film and television work.
Raymund gained wide recognition as Maria “Ria” Torres on Fox’s Lie to Me, then expanded her range with a recurring turn as Dana Lodge on CBS’s The Good Wife. She became a fan favorite as paramedic Gabriela Dawson on NBC’s Chicago Fire, a role tied into the franchise’s larger world through the character’s on-screen brother, Antonio Dawson, who appears on Chicago P.D.
Her film credits include Arbitrage, Brahmin Bulls, Bros, and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, showcasing an ability to shift from intimate indie storytelling to prestige ensemble pieces. Raymund has also worked behind the camera as a director and producer, continuing to broaden her impact across modern screen entertainment.
