Nat Wolff
Nat Wolff (born December 17, 1994, in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and musician who first came to wide attention as the face—and songwriter—of Nickelodeon’s The Naked Brothers Band. Performing alongside his younger brother Alex, Wolff helped turn the series into a pop-culture moment, with music shaped by a family steeped in the arts: their mother, actress Polly Draper, created the show, while their father, jazz pianist Michael Wolff, co-produced its soundtrack releases.
After the series wrapped, Wolff and his brother continued as the duo Nat & Alex Wolff, releasing the album Black Sheep and keeping music central to his creative identity. That crossover appeal—part performer, part songwriter—has remained a defining thread throughout his screen work.
On film, Wolff expanded into coming-of-age dramas and mainstream studio projects, earning notice in titles such as Palo Alto, Admission, Stuck in Love, and Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. He later reached a broader audience through high-profile releases including The Fault in Our Stars and a string of mid-2010s features.
Wolff has also taken on darker, more stylized roles, notably playing Light Turner in Netflix’s Death Note. With credits spanning indie drama, teen romance, and streaming thrillers, he continues to build a varied career rooted in both acting and music.
