Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz (also credited as Nathan Diaz) is an American screen presence best known for appearing as himself across fight broadcasts and combat-sports documentaries. Born April 16, 1985, in Stockton, California, Diaz became a familiar on-camera figure through his long-running association with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Before reaching the UFC spotlight, Diaz built experience in multiple promotions, including World Extreme Cagefighting, Strikeforce, and Pancrase. His breakthrough came after winning The Ultimate Fighter 5, a launchpad that helped turn his competitive career into a widely televised persona recognized well beyond the cage.

On screen, Diaz’s credits reflect key moments from modern MMA history, with appearances in events such as UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz vs. Guillard, UFC Fight Night 20: Maynard vs. Diaz, UFC 94: St-Pierre vs. Penn 2, UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn 2, and UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem. He also features in Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Gracie and the documentary High Committee: A Look at Britain’s Cannabis Culture.

More recently, Diaz expanded his mainstream visibility with Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz, underscoring his crossover appeal as a compelling, unfiltered personality in sports entertainment.
