Nicholas Hamilton

Nicholas Hamilton (also credited as Nic Hamilton) is an Australian screen actor born on May 4, 2000, in Lismore, New South Wales. Emerging early as a standout young performer, he began building momentum through short-form projects that showcased his range and intensity.

He first drew wider industry notice with a leading role in the 2013 short film Time, earning a Best Male Actor prize at Tropfest—an early marker of his screen presence. That recognition helped open doors to television and film work, including guest-lead appearances on series such as Wanted and Mako Mermaids.

Hamilton’s major breakthrough arrived in 2017 when he played the volatile bully Henry Bowers in It, the Stephen King adaptation that became a global hit. He followed with high-profile credits including Captain Fantastic (as Rellian Cash), The Dark Tower (as Lucas Hanson), and Strangerland (as Tom), alongside roles in shorts like Gifted.

Continuing to expand his filmography, he has appeared in titles such as Do Not Enter (as Tod), Things Like This (as Lance Lunar), and Hurricanna. He is represented by WME and 3 Arts, with Catherine Poulton handling representation in Australia.
