Nicholas Hoult
Nicholas Hoult (also credited as Nicholas Caradoc Hoult) is an English actor born on December 7, 1989, in Wokingham, England. Recognized for his range and screen presence, he has earned major awards attention, including nominations spanning the BAFTAs, Golden Globes, and the Primetime Emmys.
Hoult began acting very young, making his screen debut in the mid-1990s before breaking through internationally at 11 as Marcus Brewer in About a Boy. He later reshaped his public image with a bold turn as Tony Stonem in the UK series Skins, a performance that helped him move from child roles into darker, more demanding material.
On film, he has balanced prestige projects with blockbuster franchises, from A Single Man to his fan-favorite portrayal of Hank McCoy/Beast in X-Men: First Class. Other notable credits include Clash of the Titans, The Weather Man, and The Order, underscoring his ability to shift between character drama and large-scale action.
Hoult has also expanded into voice acting across audiobooks, games, and animation, while continuing to return to television for standout roles such as Emperor Peter III in The Great.
