Nico Hiraga

Nico Hiraga (also credited as Nicholas Hiraga) is a San Francisco–born American screen actor and skateboarder whose easygoing presence and streetwise authenticity have made him a standout in youth-driven film and TV. Born on December 19, 1997, Hiraga first drew attention through skate culture before translating that natural charisma to the camera.

He broke through with memorable supporting turns in coming-of-age favorites, including Booksmart (as Tanner) and the 2021 teen comedy-drama Moxie (as Seth). His film work continued to expand with roles that balance humor and heart, from Skate Kitchen (Patrick) to studio features such as Rosaline (Steve the Courier) and Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between (Scotty).

Hiraga’s credits also reflect his roots in skate-led storytelling, including Lakai - The Flare (as himself) and appearances in Illegal Civilization - “Summer of ’17” (as Paul). More recently, he joined the cast of Love in Taipei as Xavier Yeh and the film Sweethearts as Ben, continuing a trajectory defined by contemporary, character-forward projects.
