Nik Korda

Nik Korda (also credited as Nikolas Korda and Nicholas Korda) is a London-born production leader known for steering large-scale studio films as a unit production manager and executive producer. Born in Westminster, England, he has become a trusted behind-the-scenes figure on some of the most logistically demanding franchises in modern cinema.

Korda has worked across both major superhero universes. For Marvel, he helped guide the Guardians of the Galaxy series—serving as executive producer and unit production manager on the 2014 original, Vol. 2 (2017), and Vol. 3 (2023). On the DC side, he brought the same production discipline to The Suicide Squad (2021) and later joined the new DCU as an executive producer on Superman (2025).

His broader credits include high-profile features such as The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and The Girl in the Spider’s Web (2018), along with earlier work on Lost in Space (1998) and Robin Hood (2010). He also began in assistant directing, including a role on Batman (1989).

A DGA Award winner for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), Korda has also earned recognition with an Emmy nomination for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022). He additionally appears as himself in The Making of 'The Fellowship of the Ring'.
