Olivia Cooke (also credited as Olivia Kate Cooke) is an English screen actress born on December 27, 1993, in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Known for combining emotional precision with a quietly fearless edge, she has built a career that moves easily between prestige television and genre-defining films.

Cooke became a standout on TV through major roles including Emma Decody in Bates Motel (2013–2017) and Becky Sharp in the period drama Vanity Fair (2018). She later expanded her range with a spy turn in Slow Horses (2022) and earned global attention as Alicent Hightower in HBO’s fantasy drama House of the Dragon (2022–present).

On the big screen, Cooke has headlined and scene-stolen across horror, sci-fi, and drama.
