P.J. Byrne
P.J. Byrne (also credited as Paul Jeffrey Byrne) is an American screen actor born on December 15, 1974, in Maplewood, New Jersey. Known for his sharp comic timing and character-driven performances, Byrne has built a career moving fluidly between studio films, television, and voice work.
He is widely recognized for playing Nicky “Rugrat” Koskoff in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), a standout supporting turn that introduced him to a broader audience. On television, Byrne is also known for his role as Irv Smiff on the UPN/CW series The Game, where his energetic presence helped make him a memorable part of the ensemble.
Byrne has also made a mark in animation, voicing Bolin in Nickelodeon’s acclaimed The Legend of Korra (2012–2014). His later credits continue to show range, from comedies like Walk of Shame to voice roles such as J.B. in Scooby-Doo! and Krypto, Too!, alongside film appearances including Somewhere in Queens and Dear Santa.
