Patrick Brammall
Patrick Brammall (born March 30, 1976, in Canberra, Australia) is an Australian screen actor and writer known for sharp, character-driven comedy and grounded drama. Over the years, he has built a versatile profile across film and television, often playing men whose confidence masks vulnerability.
He became widely recognized in Australia for his work on the ABC comedy A Moody Christmas, then expanded his audience with a key role on Channel Ten’s Offspring. Brammall further cemented his dramatic credentials as Sergeant James Hayes in the ABC sci-fi mystery series Glitch, a performance that helped define the show’s tense, emotional tone.
In 2022, he and his wife, Harriet Dyer, teamed up as co-creators, co-writers, and co-stars of the acclaimed comedy Colin from Accounts, showcasing his strengths both in front of and behind the camera. Internationally, he appeared on the series Evil as Andy Bouchard, a climbing guide and family man caught in escalating supernatural turmoil.
His notable film credits include The Little Death, Ruben Guthrie, Griff the Invisible, and Fun Mom Dinner, reflecting a career defined by range, wit, and emotional precision.
