Paul Anderson

Paul Anderson (also credited as 保罗·安德森, 保羅·安德森, پُل اندرسون) is an English screen actor born on February 12, 1978, in London, England. He emerged in the late 2000s with a gritty, lived-in presence that quickly made him a standout in British film and television.

Before acting became his profession, Anderson worked as a ticket scalper and later chose to retrain, enrolling at the Webber Douglas drama school. That shift opened the door to stage work and early screen opportunities, where he began building a reputation for intense character portrayals and street-smart realism.

His film credits include The Firm (as Bex), A Lonely Place to Die (as Chris), and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (as Colonel Sebastian Moran), alongside roles in Passion (Dirk Harriman), Piggy (Piggy), Frankie Howerd: Rather You Than Me (Roger), Lift (Donal), and '71 (Sergeant Leslie Lewis). Anderson is widely recognized for his breakout television role as Arthur Shelby in Peaky Blinders, a performance that cemented his status as a compelling force in modern British drama.
