Paul Walter Hauser
Paul Walter Hauser (born October 15, 1986, in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is an American screen actor who has steadily built a reputation for scene-stealing character work across film and television. Also known as Signet Ringer, he has expanded his profile beyond acting through occasional appearances in professional wrestling.
Hauser’s wider breakthrough came with his lead turn in Clint Eastwood’s drama Richard Jewell (2019), a performance that helped move him from memorable supporting parts into headline roles. He later drew major acclaim for portraying Larry Hall in the miniseries Black Bird (2022), earning top industry recognition including both Emmy and Golden Globe wins.
On TV, many viewers know him for playing Stingray in Cobra Kai, while his voice work has also become a key part of his career, including a role in Pixar’s Inside Out 2 (2024). His film résumé includes notable supporting turns in projects such as Cruella and Old Dads.
