Peta Sergeant
Peta Sergeant (also credited as Peta Sergant) is an Australian–Malaysian screen actor born on January 1, 1980, in Penang, Malaysia, and raised in Brisbane, Australia. Initially drawn to science, she shifted course after discovering a passion for drama at school—an interest that led her to train at Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), graduating in 2000.
After early TV work and even producing a stage play soon after finishing drama school, Sergeant stepped away from the industry to travel for around 18 months. The break proved pivotal, sharpening her focus and solidifying acting as a long-term vocation.
Sergeant built a strong television profile across Australia and the UK, with roles in series including Jeopardy, Headland, All Saints, Canal Road, and Satisfaction. On film, she is known for playing Vivian Wagner in Iron Sky, Wiki in Crawlspace, and credits such as Patrick and Heavenquest: A Pilgrim’s Progress.
Her range also extends into voice performance, including an uncredited turn as Terisa Kerril in Star Wars: Squadrons – Hunted. Additional notable appearances include The Bet, Gone Hollywood, and George of the Jungle 2.
