Phia Saban (born September 19, 1998, in Hackney, London) is an English screen actress recognized for bringing emotional clarity and quiet intensity to high-profile period and fantasy dramas. Also credited as Sophia Saban and by her full name, Sophia Alison M. Boreham Saban, she has quickly built a résumé marked by standout ensemble work.

She drew wide attention playing Aelfwynn in the fifth season of Netflix’s medieval epic The Last Kingdom (2022), a role that showcased her ability to balance vulnerability with resolve amid political upheaval. The performance helped position her among the most talked-about new faces in British television.

In the same year, Saban joined HBO’s global phenomenon House of the Dragon as Princess Helaena Targaryen, later appearing as Queen Helaena Targaryen.
