Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Phoebe Waller-Bridge (also credited as Phoebe Mary Waller-Bridge) is an English screen artist born on July 14, 1985, in London. Celebrated for sharp, character-driven comedy and fearless performances, she has become one of the most influential creative voices of her generation as an actress, writer, and producer.
Her global breakthrough came with Fleabag (2016–2019), where she served as creator, lead writer, and star—work that earned major industry recognition including multiple Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, and a BAFTA TV Award. She later expanded her acclaim behind the scenes on the spy thriller Killing Eve (2018–2022), receiving further Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her writing and producing.
Waller-Bridge also created and fronted the comedy series Crashing (2016) and appeared on television in projects such as The Café and Broadchurch. Her film credits include Albert Nobbs (as Viscountess Yarrell) and The Iron Lady (as Susie), while her voice work includes IF (as Blossom).
In addition to acting, she has contributed to high-profile screenwriting, including work on the James Bond film No Time to Die, and stepped into blockbuster adventure with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023). Other notable appearances include Intangible, Incident on the Northern Line, and The Making of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (as Self).
