Preston Lacy
Preston Lacy (born August 14, 1969, in Carthage, Missouri) is an American screen performer known for blending fearless physical comedy with stunt-driven entertainment. Working as both an actor and stunt performer, he became a recognizable presence in modern prank and reality-adjacent comedy.
Lacy rose to wide fame as one of the standout cast members of MTV’s Jackass, a series that turned outrageous dares and elaborate gags into a pop-culture phenomenon. His on-screen persona—often pushed to extremes for a laugh—helped define the franchise’s chaotic style and made him a familiar face to audiences worldwide.
Beyond the core show, he continued appearing across the franchise’s film run, including Jackass 3D, Jackass 3.5, and Jackass 2.5, frequently credited as “Self.” His other notable work includes roles in Christmas in Wonderland as Sheldon Cardoza and The Life of Lucky Cucumber as Forrest Fonda, plus a multi-character showcase in National Lampoon’s TV: The Movie.
Whether playing characters or leaning into stunt comedy, Preston Lacy remains closely associated with the high-energy, anything-goes spirit that made Jackass a lasting entertainment brand.
