Rebecca Ferguson
Rebecca Ferguson (also known as Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström) is a Swedish screen actor born on October 19, 1983, in Stockholm. Bilingual and internationally in demand, she has built a career spanning Sweden, the UK, and especially the United States, moving fluidly between prestige drama and large-scale studio filmmaking.
Ferguson first appeared on television in 1999 in the Swedish soap Nya Tider, then made her feature debut with the 2004 thriller Drowning Ghost as Amanda. Her global breakthrough arrived with the BBC historical series The White Queen (2013), where her portrayal of Elizabeth Woodville earned major awards attention, including a Golden Globe nomination.
She became a modern action mainstay as MI6 agent Ilsa Faust in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and its sequels, sharing the screen with Tom Cruise. Her filmography also highlights range, from the musical The Greatest Showman to genre favorites like Doctor Sleep, alongside acclaimed titles such as Florence Foster Jenkins.
