Reid Scott

Reid Scott (also credited as Reed Scott; Chinese: 瑞德·斯科特) is an American screen actor born on November 19, 1977, in Albany, New York. Known for a crisp comedic rhythm and grounded dramatic work, he has built a career that moves easily between television ensemble hits and independent features.

Scott became widely recognized for his scene-stealing turns in TV comedy, notably as Dan Egan on HBO’s Veep and as Brando Dorff on TBS’s My Boys. His performances often balance charm and edge, making him a reliable presence in character-driven stories and fast-paced dialogue.

On the film side, he has appeared across genres, from indie favorites like Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas (Trent) and Beside Still Waters (Henry) to thrillers such as Amusement (Dan). Other notable credits include Losing Control and Wildflower (both as Ben), Missing William (William Leeds), and Sister (Bill).

Scott has also lent his voice to animation, portraying Commissioner Gordon in Merry Little Batman. With a filmography spanning comedy, drama, and genre entertainment, he remains a versatile actor with steady screen presence.
