Reika Kirishima
Reika Kirishima (born August 5, 1972, in Niigata, Japan) is a Japanese screen actress recognized for her steady presence across genre cinema and contemporary dramas. Known for bringing a grounded, attentive energy to both leading and supporting roles, she has built a filmography that spans mainstream hits and distinctive independent projects.
International audiences often remember Kirishima for her appearance in Godzilla: Final Wars as the Female Xilian, while fans of cult action may spot her in Versus (credited as an uncredited extra). Her work also includes the drama Heaven's Door and the acclaimed relationship film A Stranger of Mine, where she played Maki Kuwata.
Kirishima has continued to take on character-driven parts in notable literary and coming-of-age adaptations, including Norwegian Wood as Reiko Ishida and Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac as a hospital receptionist. She has also appeared in horror and folklore storytelling with The Scary Folklore: Omote no Sho as Kurihara Misaki.
