Born on November 22, 1956, in North Trenton, New Jersey, he has built a reputation for smart, character-driven performances that move easily between comedy and drama.

On TV, Kind became a familiar face through standout roles on long-running series, including Mad About You and Spin City, and later appearances on projects such as East New York, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Watcher. His screen credits also span acclaimed films, with memorable turns in A Serious Man (as Uncle Arthur) and The Station Agent (as Louis Tiboni), alongside titles like Clifford and tick, tick... BOOM!
