Rob Carlton

Rob Carlton (also credited as Robert Carlton, born 4 May 1971) is an Australian screen actor and writer, recognised for blending sharp comedy with grounded character work. He is widely associated with the hit comedy series Chandon Pictures, which he both wrote and starred in, helping cement his reputation as a versatile talent on Australian television.

Carlton began working professionally as a teenager and built a long-running presence across popular TV drama and soap staples. His early and ongoing screen work spans series such as Young Ramsay, A Country Practice, Home and Away, Blue Heelers, Water Rats, Fireflies, McLeod's Daughters and All Saints, showcasing range from light comedy to procedural and family drama.

In the mid-1990s, he spent time living in Los Angeles before returning to Australia for film work, taking on a continuity coordinator role on a production based in Melbourne. Alongside acting and writing, Carlton has also developed a parallel career as a professional speaker, regularly working as an MC, compère, facilitator and motivational presenter.

Recent and notable screen credits include Sweet River (Wilkins), Parer's War (Ken Hall), You Can't Stop the Murders (Barry) and Cody: Bad Love (Slipper).
