Robert Kulzer
Robert Kulzer is a German film producer closely associated with Constantin Film, where he has played a key role in connecting the Munich-based company with the Hollywood studio system. His work is widely linked to the company’s international genre output, especially projects developed for English-language audiences.
Kulzer began his career at Constantin as a script reader and assistant to producer Bernd Eichinger, a formative period that helped shape his long-running involvement in the company’s development and production pipeline. Over time, he became known as Constantin’s point person for collaborations and business across the U.S. film industry.
He is particularly recognized for overseeing Constantin’s Resident Evil franchise, helping guide the series through multiple installments and later plans for a reboot. His producing slate has also included development work toward reviving other recognizable titles, including a new take on Wrong Turn.
On the documentary and bonus-feature side, Kulzer appears as himself in notable franchise retrospectives such as Game Over: Resident Evil Reanimated, Beyond Raccoon City: Unearthing 'Resident Evil: Extinction', and Resident Road Map: Reflections on the Future of the Series.
