Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson (also credited as Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson) is an English screen actor born on May 13, 1986, in Barnes, London. He began performing as a teenager in local theatre before breaking into film with a standout turn as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Global fame followed when Pattinson became a defining face of modern franchise cinema as Edward Cullen in Twilight and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, part of a series that turned him into an international star. He broadened his mainstream appeal with romantic dramas like Remember Me, while also taking on character-driven projects such as Little Ashes, where he portrayed Salvador Dalí.
Rather than settle into one lane, Pattinson built a reputation for risk-taking choices, earning praise for work in director-led films including David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis (also known as Citizens of Cosmopolis) and other bold, independent features. He later returned to major studio spotlight with high-profile roles, continuing to balance scale with experimentation.
