Roger Bart

Roger Bart (also credited as Roger Douglas Bart) is an American actor born on September 29, 1962, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Known for his sharp comic timing and distinctive character work, Bart has built a career that moves comfortably between big studio comedies, genre films, and musical-driven projects.

On screen, he’s recognized for memorable supporting turns in films such as The Producers (as Carmen Ghia) and The Stepford Wives (as Roger Bannister), as well as the offbeat comedy Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (as Dr. Jack Beecher). He has also ventured into darker territory, appearing in horror titles like Hostel: Part II (as Stuart) and The Midnight Meat Train (as Jurgis).

Bart’s versatility extends to family entertainment and voice performance, including the singing voice of Young Hercules in Disney’s Hercules. Additional credits include Spy School (Principal Hampton) and a small role in tick, tick... BOOM!, underscoring his steady presence across decades of film and television.
