Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike (born January 27, 1979, in Hammersmith, London) is a British screen and stage actor known for sharp, intelligent performances across prestige drama, thrillers, and studio films. Working under her full name, Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike, she has earned major industry recognition, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy, alongside Oscar and BAFTA nominations.

Pike first built her craft in theatre before moving to television with early roles in A Rather English Marriage (1998) and period dramas such as Wives and Daughters and Love in a Cold Climate. Global attention followed with her feature breakthrough as Bond agent Miranda Frost in Die Another Day, launching a run of standout supporting and leading turns.

Her filmography spans romantic classics and modern genre fare, from Pride & Prejudice (as Jane Bennet) and The Libertine to Doom (Samantha Grimm) and Fracture (Nikki Gardner), plus acclaimed work in An Education and Made in Dagenham. Pike reached a new level of acclaim with Gone Girl, and later drew praise for A Private War, her Emmy-winning role in State of the Union, and her Golden Globe-winning performance in I Care a Lot.
