Sadie Sink
Sadie Sink (also credited as Sadie Elizabeth Sink) is an American screen and stage actress born April 16, 2002, in Brenham, Texas. She first drew attention in live theatre, taking on the iconic lead in the musical Annie and later appearing on Broadway as a young Queen Elizabeth II in The Audience, establishing a foundation built on discipline and range.
Sink transitioned to film with the biographical sports drama Chuck (as Kimberly), then surged into global recognition as Max Mayfield in Netflix’s Stranger Things, a performance widely praised for its emotional intensity and grounded realism. That breakout opened the door to bolder genre work and high-profile collaborations.
Her credits span horror, drama, and prestige projects, including Fear Street: 1978 (as Ziggy Berman), All Too Well: The Short Film (as Her), The Glass Castle (as Lori Walls, age 12), and The Whale, which brought major awards attention. She has also appeared in titles such as Eli, A Sacrifice (as Mazzy), and O’Dessa (as O’Dessa Galloway).
Continuing to balance screen work with theatre, Sink earned a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the Broadway play John Proctor Is the Villain, reinforcing her reputation as one of her generation’s most compelling young performers.
