Sahajak Boonthanakit

Sahajak Boonthanakit (also known as Pu Sahajak Boonthanakit / ปู สหจักร บุญธนกิจ) is a Bangkok-born Thai screen artist recognized for bringing authority and nuance to both local and international productions. After spending more than a decade living in Nairobi, Kenya, and later around two decades in New York, he developed a cross-cultural perspective that has helped shape his on-screen presence.

He first discovered acting through stage work in Nairobi, performing for several years before returning to Thailand. His screen breakthrough came in 1999 with a role in The Beach, followed soon after by Broke Down Palace, marking the start of a steady career in film and television.

Since then, Boonthanakit has appeared in more than 80 projects, often cast in memorable supporting parts. International audiences may recognize him from Only God Forgives and The Lady, while Thai and streaming viewers have seen him in titles such as Bad Genius, Cracked, and AI Love You. His credits also include Elephant White and No Escape, underscoring his versatility across genres and languages.
