Sai Pallavi

Sai Pallavi (also credited as Sai Pallavi Senthamarai Kannan) is an Indian screen artist known for her naturalistic performances and expressive dance style across Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema. Born on May 9, 1992, in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, she also holds a medical background—an uncommon combination that has added to her distinctive public profile.

Before films, Pallavi gained early visibility through dance reality television, which showcased the energy and precision that would later become part of her on-screen identity. Her breakout arrived with Premam (2015), where her portrayal of Malar earned major debut recognition and quickly positioned her as a sought-after leading actor.

She expanded her range with roles in films such as Kali, the acclaimed courtroom drama Gargi, and later high-profile projects including Amaran (as Indhu Rebecca Varghese) and Thandel (as Sathya “Bujji Thalli”). In 2026, she broadened her pan-Indian presence with her Hindi debut Ek Din and took on the mythic role of Sita in Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.

With multiple major awards and the Tamil Nadu government’s Kalaimamani honour, Sai Pallavi remains one of South Indian cinema’s most influential contemporary performers.
