Sam Register
Sam Register (also credited as Samuel B. Register) is an American television producer and media executive born on June 16, 1969, in New York City. Known for shaping modern animated entertainment, he has built a career at the intersection of creative development and digital strategy.
Register rose through the ranks at Cartoon Network, where he served as a Vice President and helped push the brand online early. He was a key force behind the launch of CartoonNetwork.com in 1998, and later helped conceive Cartoon Orbit in 2000, guiding its creative direction during its early years as the network explored interactive fan experiences.
He later became president of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, overseeing a wide slate of animated projects and expanding how audiences discover them across platforms. His leadership is often linked with franchise building, talent development, and keeping animation culturally current.
Among his notable credits are Regular Show and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and he has also appeared in voice-related executive credits, including Teen Titans Go!.
