Sathya Sridharan
Sathya Sridharan (born November 29, 1986, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American screen actor known for character-driven performances across independent film, mainstream features, and stage-informed storytelling. Based in New York, he has built a decade-plus career that also spans writing and teaching, bringing a grounded, craft-forward approach to his work.
He gained wider recognition with his appearance in Darren Aronofsky’s Oscar-nominated drama The Whale (2022), playing Dan the Pizza Man. The role highlighted his ability to make brief screen time feel lived-in and memorable, adding texture to a film defined by intimate performances.
Sridharan’s filmography reflects range and curiosity, from World’s Best (Coach Ani) to indie titles such as Bikini Moon (Krishna) and the sci-fi thriller Minor Premise / Premise (Ethan).
