Scott Adkins
Scott Adkins (also credited as Scott Edward Adkins; also known as اسکات ادکینز) is an English screen actor and martial artist, born June 17, 1976, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. He built an international following through hard-hitting action performances that blend athleticism with precise fight choreography.
Adkins’ breakout came as Russian prison fighter Yuri Boyka in Undisputed II: Last Man Standing (2006), a role he continued in later sequels and that earned him major recognition within the action genre. While he often headlines lean, fight-forward productions, he has also appeared in studio titles, including X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Weapon XI and The Bourne Ultimatum as Agent Kiley.
His early work included small parts in Hong Kong and U.S. films before stepping into his first prominent lead as Casey Bowman in Ninja (2009). He later expanded his signature antihero persona with roles like Mike Fallon in Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday, alongside appearances in films such as The Tournament and Take Cover.
Training since age 13, Adkins earned a taekwondo black belt by 19 and has studied disciplines including judo, kickboxing, capoeira, Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, and wushu—skills that continue to shape his reputation as one of modern action cinema’s most reliable performers.
