Scott Nemes

Scott Nemes (born April 22, 1974, in Los Angeles, California) is a television executive and producer known for shaping ambitious, globally minded series. As President of Television at AGBO, he guides both the creative direction and business strategy behind the company’s episodic slate.

Nemes serves as an executive producer on Amazon’s international spy-thriller Citadel, including its local-language expansions developed for markets such as Italy, India, and Mexico. He is also an executive producer on AGBO’s upcoming Butch and Sundance series for Amazon, starring Regé-Jean Page and Glen Powell, continuing his focus on franchise-scale storytelling built for worldwide audiences.

Before joining AGBO, Nemes held senior roles at NBCUniversal, most recently as EVP of Creative Acquisitions and International Development for Universal Studio Group, where he helped steer global scripted development and identify adaptable IP for talent and divisions across the company. Earlier, as EVP of Development and Current at Universal Cable Productions, he oversaw scripted projects including The Girl From Plainville and Gaslit.

His leadership background also includes running Brad Weston’s Makeready television arm and helping drive Cinemax’s rebrand with series such as Banshee and Strike Back. Nemes began in film production, with credits that include the action thriller Hanna.
